Story

Tired of watching Libby treat people badly, Sabrina decides to give Libby a taste of her own medicine by transforming her into a geek. However, when Libby succeeds at turning her fellow geeks against the entire school, Sabrina must find a way to unite her classmates before the plan backfires. (from ABC's AOL folder)

• Sabrina cheers: ``Ready? Okay! It's spirit... week... and Libby's now a geek!'' (Adorable!!)
• I thought the way they flipped things around following the conversation between Sabrina and Libby in the bathroom was quite clever (i.e., how Sabrina gave her the idea that she was ``still the same person'').

Weak Points and Mistakes

The way Melissa says, ``Man, I hope not!'' is not at all convincing, IMO.

• James Fields, who plays Howard, one of the geeks in science club, is Melissa's boyfriend.
• The way Libby suggests that (?) and Sabrina ``can get weekend jobs at the carnival'' recalls how Clarissa got a job at the Baxter Beach Carnival in ``Parents Who Say No'' (#111).
• James's lines as Howard in this episode:
  • ``It means that the government's been covering this up for years and that Scully and Mulder are right: the truth is out there!'' (after being asked by Mr. Pool what the discovery of possible life on Mars means to him)
  • ``Yeah, you never sat with us at lunch!'' (to Sabrina)
  • ``Hey, how many cheerleaders does it take to screw in a pickle?'' (to Cee Cee and Jill)

• If this hasn't been established yet, Libby's last name is Chessler.
• Sabrina ``pounds some beef'' to relieve her anger. Hmm... I wonder if the writers realized what they were saying there! ;-)
• Harvey's line about Mystery Science Theater 3000 after being ``geeked'' by Sabrina is especially funny if you know that one of the show's writers, Frank Conniff, used to work on MST3K.
