In this episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Melissa played Daphne, babysitter of rich-kid Charles (Andrew Henry). They go to stay with his eccentric aunts on their farm, where they encounter the ghost of a young boy who froze to death on the farm several years before.

Charles Pemlerton Shilling III has been sent with his baby sitter to stay with his aunts in their creepy old farmhouse. Charles overhears his aunts speaking about a ghost which they think is haunting their house. One night, he wakes up to see a ghost standing outside his bedroom window, who cries up to Charles that he is cold. For the first time in his life, Charles must summon his courage in order to help another person. Melissa Joan Hart Guest Stars.
